PROF. MARIUSZ ROSIK

An academic teacher in the Pontifical Faculty of Theology and in the University of Wrocław (Breslau), Poland. He keeps courses of Exegesis of the New Testament, Biblical Environment, Jewish History and New Testament Greek. Prof. Mariusz Rosik has published more than fourty books and many articles in the field of biblical and Jewish studies. His texts were published in fifteen languages.

MY SAMPLE RESEARCH

In the book "In Christ all will be made alive" (1Cor 15:12-58). The Role of Old Testament Quotations in the Pauline Argumentation for the Resurrection I identifie the source of six OT quotation, then

I consider the phrase in its direct OT context, and discuss its importance in various parts of 1 Cor 15:12-58. After a thirteen-page general introduction, I deal with Paul's use of the OT and the place of 1 Cor 15:12-58 in the letter as a whole and the role of the OT quotations in it. Next I treat each of the OT quotations and I reflect on the role and redactional reworking of the OT quotations in 1 Cor 15:12-58.
